Diego Maradona passed Away

              Diego Maradona, who died of a heart attack on November 25,2020 ,Wednesday     at the age of 60,He had been in hospital in Buenos Aires after surgery to remove a blood clot on the brain earlier this month.

On 2 November 2020, Maradona was admitted to a hospital in La Plata, A representative of the        ex-football player stated to press meet his condition was not serious. 

However, while Maradona is remembered for his masterly composure on the ball, he was also famous for his frequent lack of control both on the field and off. He struggled with addiction, notably to cocaine, and with his weight.

A day later, he underwent emergency brain surgery. He was discharged on 12 November after successful surgery and was supervised by doctors as an outpatient. On 25 November 2020, at the age of 60, Maradona died of a heart attack at his home in Buenos Aires

 Diego Armando Maradona was born on October 30, 1960, in Lanus, just outside Buenos Aires, and grew up in one of the poorest areas of the Argentine capital. He made his debut for Argentinos Juniors just before his 16th birthday and his debut for Argentina at age 16 in February, 1977.

In his career, he scored 259 goals and he played 490 official club games during his 21 years professional career. But for Argentina, he played 91 Games and scored 34 Goals.

He was 20th centuries's Top player named by Federation Internationale De football Association.    

Few months earlier, he was also jailed for  fired a Air rifle at reporter outside his home.  


In a social media platform, Argentine Football Association expressed "its deepest sorrow for the death of our legend", adding: "You will always be in our hearts." 



Alberto Fernández, President of Argentina has announced three days of national mourning.

Gary Lineker, who was playing for England that day, tweeted: "By some distance the best player of my generation and arguably the greatest of all time.

"After a blessed but troubled life, hopefully he'll finally find some comfort in the hands of God. £RipDiego"

The Barcelona superstar is widely-considered as one of Maradona’s only rivals to the honour of the greatest footballer of all time

“A very sad day for all Argentines and for football,” he wrote on Instagram. "He leaves us but does not leave, because Diego is eternal.

"I keep all the beautiful moments lived with him and I wanted to take the opportunity to send my condolences to all his family and friends. RIP."
